Socialization Purpose

Children who have difficulty relating to peers develop patterns of isolation displayed through withdrawal, aggression, and inappropriate behaviors.

By building a reservoir of successful social experiences, children increase their range of interpersonal responses while fostering a sense of social competence.

In a therapeutic environment, children can learn and apply fundamental social skills.
